My Amsterdam wardrobe was pretty chilled and relaxed compared to the statement-making looks I normally style. I thought a more minimalistic yet chic vibe suited the city more… what do you think?!
Before we start on the Amsterdam style and travel articles, let’s take a moment to discuss my fab Radley London bag. Radley has teamed up with the UK’s heart research charity, the British Heart Foundation, to create their gorgeous #RadleyHeartsHer ‘Love Me Do’ collection. Fifteen per cent of the sale price from each bag goes directly to help the British Heart Foundation fund essential research projects around the UK.
Some of Radley’s classic styles, including a backpack, crossbody bag and tote bag, are in the special collection, and they’re available in three versatile and timeless colours – black, petal or berry red.
I’ve only had my backpack for less than a week and I’ve fallen in love with it already. I took it away with me to Amsterdam and it was so incredibly handy, I think it’s going to be my go-to travel handbag from now on. You won’t believe how much you can fit in it and there are so many great little compartments, so you can keep all your things super organised. Perfect for those (like me) who always have a messy handbag.
Tim was also most impressed. He normally has to carry all my changes of clothes around while we’re exploring a new city, but with my backpack, I could share the load. As I mentioned, you’ll be surprised at how much you can fit in this compact bag. We managed to pop in a few blouses, a belt, a blazer and a pair of heels, on top of all my other essential items – lippy, small camera, etc.
The quality is of course exceptional, and I adore the red love heart tag, which sits alongside Radley’s cute little dog!
I normally don’t like backpacks, but this one is super sophisticated and can be styled with everything.
It’s also a stylish way to be a tourist in disguise!
