Liverpool is quickly becoming UK’s place to be for the stylish foodie. With new, super cool cafes and restaurants opening each month, the city is popping with delicious spots to eat and drink.
If you’re a fashionista either visiting or living in Liverpool, you’re honestly spoilt for choice. Here are a few places to go to for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks or coffee.
The Instagrammable Restaurant
The Florist is a new culinary delight for the city. It has embraced the fundamental principles of floristry to create a sensory world, where you can experience a range of delicious non-vegetarian, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes, all with a botanical twist; enjoy a wide range range of fragrant cocktails, from Lavender Thistle Gin to Balloons of Jasmine Brandy; listen to daily music and nightly DJs; and of course, get lost in floral-centric decor, which makes you feel like you’ve been transported into Alice in Wonderland.
A cosy spot to hide away
Cow & Co is such a cute and quirky little cafe hidden down a side street in Liverpool city centre. It’s only small, but it’s the perfect place for a coffee catch up with friends, or to come and work for an hour or so. Their coffee reminds me of Melbourne coffee, it’s that good, and they have the best selection of sandwiches. I have to mention their cakes too. They are so damn delicious…trust me, I’ve tried nearly every one!
For a health injection
Our Kitchen is a vegetarian cafe, with both a vegetarian AND vegan menu. Enjoy alkaline juices, and veg-licious meals, healthy desserts, and calming mylks.
To work, chill, breakfast, wine or coffee
HUS is a great cafe to come and work. The space is huge with a bit of an industrial feel about it, and the decor is really cool with funky furniture and cosy corners. If you don’t need to work, it’s also great to come with friends for a bite to eat or an afternoon drink.
Welcome to flavour city
Probably one of the best restaurants in Liverpool city centre, Mowgli serves incredible authentic Indian street food. Each dish is wham-packed with flavour and taste. It’s healthy and so delish. We always take our friends to Mowgli when they come to visit, and they go home dreaming about the food. Their decor is so Insta-worthy too. If you do anything in Liverpool, please make sure you go here, you won’t be disappointed!
