Is it just me, or is the high-street killing it for spring/summer?! I am the biggest fan of individual and unique brands (more on this to come in a new series starting V soon!), but I also love styling and dabbling with high-street brands, especially at the moment.
It seems more and more of these generally quite affordable brands are each finding their own voice and creativity to stand out from the saturated high-street market. Yes, there are still the trend-led pieces and inspiration (or sometimes relatively accurate copies) taken from the catwalks of designer brands, but it seems the high-street is realising they need to do more to keep the consumer interested, and differentiate themselves in the market.
Many of these brands are carving out their own aesthetic and look, and this means it’s a very exciting time in the world of high-street fashion.
So to celebrate this influx of newness and uniqueness, I wanted to generate a list of a few of my favourite pieces on the high-street at the moment.
Some of these pieces are from brands who have been high-street heroes for years. Other’s are relatively new to the fashion game, but are making waves in the industry by injecting much needed individuality, and influencing the older retailers to mix it up!
Enjoy shopping, babes!
