Crisp, clean and classic, the little white dress is a chic essential for your wardrobe.
As versatile as it’s sister, the LBD (little black dress), the little white dress is a perfect piece for every occasion, no matter the season – yes even winter!
I absolutely love the lace, netting and eyelet detailing of this dress. You may think it’s a little OTT with the mix of the three styles, but I think it’s gorgeous. I love how the eyelets at the bottom of the dress are naked (they don’t have netting in the inner circle of the eyelet), and the slip underneath the dress stops just above the knee. This allows for you to show off your sexy legs, and also ensures the dress isn’t too material heavy on you – no frumpy looks in sight!
As stunning and as classic as this little white dress is, it also nails a handful of SS17 trends. The one shoulder detail creates such a unique spin, and the beautiful ruffle which flows diagonally from the shoulder to the opposite side, is so pretty!
The dress obviously does all the talking, so I wanted to go rather minimalistic with how I styled it. I opted with neutral colours for my bag and shoes. The little handle bag injected a little 60s vibe into the look, without being too overbearing, and the light grey/white lace-up wedges added the perfect edge.
You know I love my statement earrings, so the oversized gold knot earrings created a bit of hollywood glam to the overall look.
So babes, you’re probably wondering where I shot this outfit. This doesn’t look like gloomy grey UK, does it?! Well you’re right, it’s not! As you would have seen on my Instagram, I have been in gorgeous Benidorm in the Costa Blanca area of Spain with Jet2 Holidays & Visit Benidorm.
We stayed in the most gorgeous hotel, Melia Villaitana, which was not only one of the most luxurious places I’ve ever stayed in, it was also a blogger’s paradise. There was so many incredible photo locations, so as you can imagine, there’s plenty of fabulous content to come!
I will be creating several Benidorm themed articles over the next few weeks including a travel guide and hotel review, so you will be able to find out everything you need to know about how to do Benidorm in style!
But first, please enjoy my first outfit post from beautiful Benidorm, shot by my blogger babe, Prim from Style Petal.
