New York Dreaming

Outfit

What better way to get New York Fashion Week ready, than with a New York style themed photoshoot.

This glamorous look oozes sexiness and sophistication. It’s something I would wear for cocktails at one of those glitzy New York bars, or even on a very fancy dinner date.

Effortless to put together, you only need a simple slip dress as the base, and work from there. Of course, faux fur and glitter are a must for accessorising. They’re classically chic pieces, that’ll give your New York look a touch of romance and razzle-dazzle.

Then, add a bit of fierceness with pointed leather boots. I promise they’ll go perfectly and will provide that added bit of warmth to your bare legs. If you don’t have mid-calf boots like mine, pointed over the knee boots would certainly work too, as well as stiletto ankle boots.

For the finishing touches, you don’t want to go too overboard. A dainty mod necklace, sparkly drop earrings and fine rings will work a treat.

It’s a look that’s easy to replicate, with amazing results.

Hello glamorous New York street style star, you’re going to slay it.

E’s Hot Tip: Wearing head to toe black can be a little too much for some people, but if you mix different materials together (taking my look as an example with satin, faux fur & leather,), and add a pop of wow with some gorgeous jewels and accessories, you’ll have the look perfectly nailed.

E’s note: I’m not off to NYFW this year, babes. It’s still on my list of things to achieve though, so let’s hope it’ll happen one day soon. I will be heading to London around London Fashion Week time though, and I’m so excited to let you in on all of my experiences while I’m there.
