Five Dreamy Luxury Hotels in Paris

Ah Paris! The place of love, romance and luxury; the home to many fashion houses; and one of the prettiest cities in the world. It’s been many years since I was last in Paris and oh I am dying to go back.

Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016 begins today, and to get in the mood of all things beauty and style, I’ve put together a list of some of the most luxurious, and of course expensive, hotels in Paris. These hotels are where the seriously rich stay. However, if you decide to splurge a little while you’re in Paris, then they may be for you too.

Le Meurice

Le Meurice is simply one of the most elegant hotels in the world. Situated between Place de la Concorde and the Louvre, the hotel boasts incredible views of the Tuileries Gardens and is the perfect location for a spot of sightseeing. Le Meurice is dripping in luxury, which is notedly seen with their mix of beautiful 18th century and modern interiors, including bathrooms made with Italian marble. With a multiple Michelin-star chef overseeing all dining at the hotel, and a first-class and newly refurbished spa by Swiss skincare experts Valmont, you will without a doubt enjoy your stay at this magnificent hotel.

Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris

The Four Seasons have a fabulous reputation worldwide, and it certainly doesn’t stop at Hotel George V Paris. With stunning views of the Champs-Elysées, the hotel is located in the heart of Paris, in a beautiful landmark building that dates back to 1928. George V Paris exudes much elegance and style, which is seen in their 244 stunning rooms, their uber luxurious spa, and their two times Michelin star awarded restaurant. My tip – try to get a room with a private terrace overlooking Paris. Think of the photos!

Saint James Paris

Saint James Paris is the epitome of charm mixed with unique design and decoration. Famed interior designer Bambi Sloan has worked her eccentric magic throughout the hotel creating an artistic masterpiece. Located close to famous spots such as Arc de Triomphe, Trocadéro and Avenue Victor Hugo, the beautiful hotel is one not to be missed. Get treated to a divine beauty treatment at Guerlain spa; have a delicate bite to eat at the restaurant, which is run by Michelin-starred chef Virginie Basselot; or retire to the former Thiers Foundation Library to sip on a world-class cocktail. On warmer days, take a stroll and enjoy the lusciously green garden courtyard.

Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris

Found on the well-known Avenue Hoche, Le Royal Monceau Hotel is situated a short walk away from some of the most famous attractions in Paris, including Parc Monceau, Champs-Elysées and Arc de Triomphe. The hotel makes you sigh “ohh la la” upon entrance, and you will be swept away instantly with it’s romantic setting and interiors. The rooms are decorated with ultimate Parisian elegance, and the courtyard is so perfect it looks straight out of a movie set. As with the other luxurious hotels, Le Royal Monceau is also blessed with a Michelin star restaurant, and a luscious spa by none other than Clarins.

Le Bristol Paris

With a vivacious history dating back to 1925, Le Bristol Paris is a lusciously exquisite hotel. Dressed in typical classic french and chic Parisian decoration, the hotel is so stunning it’s seriously fit for a queen. The home to three-time Michelin starred chef, Eric Frechon, Le Bristol has some of the finest restaurants in Paris. Let’s not forget the hotel’s bar however. Bar du Bristol is famously known as a favourite for cocktails in Paris and was once voted the best bar in the world. Make sure you don’t miss out on the fun events Le Bristol puts on too, including 1920’s Speakeasy nights (which I would love to go to!) and Gala Dinners. To top it off the hotel’s spa is by La Prairie. Yes please!
