Happy New Year to you my gorgeous readers! I’m baaaaack after a few weeks break in Australia and I’m fresh and ready to bring you some exciting content in 2016.
I’m so pumped about what this year will bring and I’m motivated to make it successful and super fulfilling! Travelling more of the UK and Europe is on top of my list of things to do, as well as launching a few super secret things business wise (so keep your eyes peeled!).
Last year was an amazing year. The highlights would have to be travelling through Asia for a few months and moving to the UK, especially as moving overseas has long been a dream of mine!
So to continue looking back, I’ve put together a round up of my three favourite blog posts from the past year. I was planning to do this post at the end of last year, but as it was such a hectic time I unfortunately didn’t get the chance. Better late than never hey!
To recap for you, I only started The Emasphere in May 2015 and I’ve already learnt sooo much about the blogging world. Last year I was trying to find my feet in this crazily saturated industry, and it’s been a tough one to really discover what makes me and my blog different. I’ve found they’re definitely right when they say to be yourself! This year I’m hoping to put everything I’ve learnt in to action and grow my blog in to a go-to space for stylish jetsetters, lifestyle designers, and style enthusiasts.
Anyway enough from me, it’s time to look back!
1. Must travel: Hội An
Ahh Hội An was my favourite place to visit in Vietnam and I highly recommend you go if you get the chance. The Ancient Town is gorgeous, the food is divine and the shopping is fabulous! Read the article, here.
2. The Emasphere Talks: Sharona Harris from F+H Jewellery
This was my most recent blog post and it was such a stand out for me. I am so driven to start my own business and I love discovering new brands from around the world. So I thought what better way to mix both passions than interview designers and business owners from some of the hottest up and coming brands around the world. Sharona Harris from F+H Jewelley was the first to appear in my interview series, The Emasphere Talks, and she was seriously such an inspiration! Read the article, here.
3. Minimal styling for the ultimate cool
This was one of my first ever blog posts! We shot these photos while staying in Phuket and to this day they are still one of my fave collections. I really need to get back in front of the camera and I’m aiming to do so this year with more fashion posts and videos – watch this space!
