Yellow is renowned for being a very hard colour to wear. I’ve always been shy of the bright hue, and always thought it never suited me.
However, as yellow is a part of the ‘bright colour troop’ trend for summer 17, I’ve decided to experiment and give it a try.
I mean really, what’s the worst that can happen?!
I have to admit that yes, I went a little overboard with my experimentation.
A yellow blouse, styled with yellow shoes and a yellow tote….
But, they say head-to-toe colour is in, right?! So I thought, why not?!
The result? A bright, summer outfit, filled with sunshine rays!
Mum said I look like a lemon meringue, and I said, “well meringues are yummy… so that must be a good thing!”
If wearing a lot of yellow is still too risky for you, but you do want to try a taster… why don’t you just start styling with yellow accessories?
Wearing one yellow accessory, such as a bag, headscarf or statement necklace will give you a fabulous pop of colour, without making you look too much like a lemon meringue.

Beautiful look and I love yellow, and recently showcased it on SheHearts as it’s one of my first times wearing the colour.
I think it’s a great colour to wear, it makes you feel happy!
Stunning photos!
