Iwas so excited to be invited to London’s Duck & Waffle this week for a fabulous blogger’s breakfast with one of my favourite online stores, Farfetch.
I’ve been a huge fashion fan of Farfetch for a long time, and as you may have seen, I have started working with them on a select few things just recently. The idea of the breakfast was ultimately so us bloggersΒ could learn more about this fantastic fashion destination, and to have a chat about future collaborations (many exciting things to come, watch this space my fashionistas!). All while eating a wonderfully decadent breakfast at Duck & Waffle, of course.
With aΒ unique business model, FarfetchΒ is a global community of over 300 visionary fashion boutiques, and offers an inspirational shopping experience to fashion-forward consumers. The boutiques in the Farfetch community are located all around the world from Paris, New York and Milan, to Bucharest, Riyadh and Seattle, but all come together on the one e-commerce website.
Farfetch showcases 1000 labels, and one of the things I love most about the brand is that they are dedicated to supporting independent fashion. Yes, you will see the likes of Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney and Jimmy Choo on there, but believe you me, you’ll also see plenty of other wonderful brands you will have never heard of before, and that’s what makes Farfetch so great!
I had the most wonderful time meeting my fellow bloggers at the event, and we enjoyed such a delicious meal at Duck & Waffle. Set on the 40th floor of one of London’s tallest buildings, Duck & Waffle have some seriously incredible views. But, that’s not all, the decor of the restaurant is that of an interior lovers dream, and the food is a big YES PLEASE in any foodie’s book.
At the event we had theΒ set menu, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to try what Duck & Waffle are known for, their INCREDIBLE waffles (I have my greedy eye on the housemade hazelnut & chocolate spread, vanilla ice cream, peanut crunch waffle!). However, the set menu impressed me so much that I’ll definitely be back for more.
All in all, the event was a fantastic experience, and I’m looking forward to working more with Farfetch in the not too distant future.
I’ve popped lots of photos fromΒ the morning below. I hope you enjoy.
E. Xx
