The asymmetrical style has always been a favourite of mine.
With sharp edges and unique cuts, the trend definitely makes for really cool statement pieces, both dressy and casual.
I decided to play around with different shapes with this outfit, mixing an olive green asymmetrical skirt with a white peplum blouse, and hey they seemed to go!
The combination is not fitting at all on me, but I think that’s what gives the look that cool factor. By also choosing two block colours, I’m not over complicating the look, but instead extenuating the shapes the pieces create together.
Another combo I believe really works well together is olive and gold. The colours are literally made for one another, and that is why I had to match my skirt with these INCREDIBLE metallic gold sandals. As you can tell from some of my past blog posts, I am super obsessed with the metallic shoe trend at the moment.
To complete the look, I added a POP of colour and fun with a quirky pink and orange clutch. Quirky bags are also a real love of mine at the moment – there are so many great ones around!
What are you thoughts on this look fashion babes? Would you rock it too?
